Why I love the poem"Ode to Autumn"by John Keats.

The famous poem "Ode to Autumn" by the great Romantic poet, John Keats is an attempt to find beauty even in Autumn season in the nature around. We have seen poets, worshippers of nature, celebrating the beauty of Spring or other seasons. But here the poet who counts down his own days eagerly enjoys the minute beauties in nature. The feeling in the poem can be understood only when we know that the poet himself was going to die at that very early age. He tries to find beauty and enjoy the fruitfulness  and mist around. The great beauty of the poem lies in the fact that Autumn season is personified in it.We ourselves feel the smell of fruits around us when we go through the lines. The description is picturesque and actually it brought to my mind the field behind my own house and the reaping scenario there. The great poet sat there in England and presented the same scenario here in a small village in India. Believe me, I swear that intense feeling in all human beings in all ages and in all nations is the same.
